    Visiting Halifax and wanted some pizza, well I picked the right place. Had their combination pizza and caesar salad deal which was  good price and filled me up. For the pizza I had the Ironworker pizza (more or less a meat lovers pizza) and it was delicious.

    I showed up just after 5 pm on a Wed so it was not very busy and had fast service by the waitress, Faybae. She was friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed.

    Would recommend this place to anyone looking for pizza and if I am ever back in Halifax I will make sure I come back.

    Despite my awkward encounter a while ago, Freeman's downtown has earned back a 5 star rating from me!

    Drinks are and have always been well-priced and food is pretty good! (Their poutine is *chef's kiss* at the end of a night out.)

    Staff is very aware of behaviour within the bar. A few weeks ago some drunk guy would absolutely not leave my friend alone while she was trying to eat her food despite her blatantly telling him to go away and me suggesting he leave his questions for another time. Our server warned the guy and his friends multiple times (respectfully and appropriately) to go sit down, and eventually kicked them out for harassing us! Really nice to be somewhere where you can feel safe while you eat your drunk snacks. A+!

    The pizza might be great but "please enter your remote access code" is not the answer I'm looking for when trying to order while they are open.

    Update at 4:21AM
    I never did get through on the phone (The 1 star deducted) but did manage to submit an order online.  Yes, the pizza is good.  Better if I could have ordered thin crust, but still rather good.

    The service here was exceptional. I had the veggie quesadilla and my friend had the Crispy chicken club sandwich. My meal was delicious, the space was pleasant and comfortable and the price was right.

    This place has a great vibe.   Mostly students, cheap prices and great pub grub.

    $10 pitchers (2016) of Moosehead was like a time warp.
